The T14 go kart seat takes the place of the discontinued T8 which also had leg support.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCurrently the T14 kart seat is only available in the smaller Cadet\/Minikart sizes, Ccd, CL and XScd.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe reason for only having three small sizes is that older juniors and adults are typically strong enough and bracing with the legs is not necessary. The extra width of the leg support can also be a problem with adult sizes, as it miss-aligns the sensitive airbox on many engine combinations. However, the added support can be ideal for classes where a particularly small or in experienced driver struggles to control a faster kart.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eT14 VG is what we call a medium\/soft rigidity seat. The VG rigidity is often popular for its middle range of flexibility, offering the best of both worlds. The T14VG will unweight the rear wheel, freeing a low power engine of inner tyre drag. T14VG is the medium specification available.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe T14 shape has a flat base, and an upright back angle for a more powerful shoulder turn when steering.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAdditional leg support to help assist kart control.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eT14VG is one of the softer rigidities on offer and produces more rear wheel lift from stiffer seat models such as the T14t. it will still offer slightly less inner rear wheel lift than the softer VTI model.
